I’ve just posted a new recipe for a Broccoli Salad on Martha’s Kitchen Korner This is a lightly sweet salad that is oh so good and refreshing. It’s simple to make. The dressing can be made ahead and refrigerated. You can use pre-cooked bacon to cut time. You can also use chopped nuts such as pecans and walnuts or almond slivers instead of the sunflower seeds. For those dieters, use a sugar substitute instead of real sugar.

The original recipe called for more ingredients – flour, baking soda, baking powder, brown sugar, white sugar and mashed bananas. I’ve simplified, made it easier and a lot quicker. This is a must try dish. Yes, I did remove a recipe – Carrot Cake Bars. Sorry!
